The control bar is looped onto a DB capstan harness which is very good for 4 line (quad handles) and highly recommended. Apologies for looking a bit vacant !! Note that the bar has thick lines for about 3m then the flying lines are attached. The line attached to my wrist is a safety device which is excellent for the Wipika. If I let go of the bar the right hand line is still attached but of course the left hand line now has about 3m of slack so the kites simply drop out of the sky ! The line running across the bar in the left hand picture is another safety device which completely releases the left hand line if the rope is tugged hard. An action shot with the control bar hooked OFF the harness. In practice the leverage of the bar offers excellent and very fine control of both the Flexifoil stack and the Wipika.
Fabulous shot of a Modulus at 2.5 sqm - the big image is a must see Another good shot of the Modulus at 2.5 sqm A different shot of the Modulus at 2.5 end on
A fabulous picture of a Spider Modulus at 2.5 m². The centre section is an unbridled mini-module and the two green sections are standard 1m units.
Note that the trailing edge is pulled right back, ie I'm having to brake the kite hard to keep it hovering for the photos.
A good picture of the Modulus showing the bridling and large openings on the leading edge. The two green 1m² units are identically bridled. REVIEW NOW
