The new Blade 3. This example is a 3.0m kite. Notice that the shape has been altered and the tips have more curvature. Its just possible to make out the diagonal ribs in the two middle cells (top left). In flight it feels very similar to the blade II with excellent stability (as you would expect from a Blade !).

The Fusion 3.5. One of a range of new kites from Kinell Kites (yes I know but don't ask me where that name came from !!). The kites are manufactured by a paraglider company hence the excellent construction and precise, solid look and feel to the Fusion. Its very similar in many respects to Ozone's Little Devil.

The Fusion flies well - VERY stable both directly overhead and at the edge of the wind and quick through the air. The 3.5 is priced at £265.00 including lines, handles and bag. Other sizes will follow soon including a 2.5m and 4.,9m and a 6.5m.

A race kite is also under development called the Katana.
Fancy something different? On a lightwind day, the new HQ Airglider flies unbelievably well. Prices are very affordable - £10.95 for the Airglider 40, £17.95 for the Airglider 60 and £27.95 for the Airglider 90. HQ's web site has a number of downloadable videos...
