| Sleeving "needle" - long loop of thin wire. Buy a sleeving kit or make one ! | Prepare each end of about 14 inches of sleeving by cutting away the frayed bit at the end. | Push a darning needle into the cut end and then seal the very end of the sleeving with a lighter on a small flame. Rotate the needle. Remove the needle to leave a clean hole in the end of the sleeving. |

| Tie a simple knot at the end of the sealed sleeve. | Double back and tie a simple overhand knot to secure. A second knot will provide additional security but is harder to untie !! | An option - simply seal and flatten the end of the sleeving. Push the "sleeving needle" into the side of the sleeving. No need to make a circular hole !! |
Check your line length regularly. If one needs to be shortened it is possible to undo the overhand knot, cut the end, pull a bit of dyneema line through, then reseal and redo the knot !!
